Report from Zhuzhou Daily, 4th, Nov, 2004, eight TM2 type electrical locomotives manufactured by Zhuzhou Electrical Locomotive Works, successfully shipped on "MOBIN" ocean cargo ship in Shanghai, and would arrive in Teheran at the end of the month.
   According to the contract which Zhuzhou Electrical Locomotive Works signned with Iran, Teheran Railway Company in 2002 , the 8 urban high-speed passenger transport electrical locomotives export to Iran, and the total value of this contract over 1.6 million dollars. The locomotives improved in 17 ways, such as cab appearance and body structure. And the bobywork adopted DJ1 type hign-power passenger transport electrical locomotive technology which manufactured by Zhuzhou Electrical Locomotive Works and SIEMENS, German, and well reached Iran's requests.
   Till now, the locomotives manufactured by Zhuzhou Electrical Locomotive Works ran in Iran reached 20.
